Getting Started with PhotoShow
What is PhotoShow?
- PhotoShow is a photo sharing and interactive web platform designed specifically for weddings and events
- Event organizers can share QR Codes using projectors or screens after creating events
- All event participants can scan the QR Code with their phones, no app download required, and start uploading photos to the photo wall and interact with it (send emojis or text that becomes scrolling messages)
How Event Organizers Create Events and Display Photo Walls
Step 1: Registration
- Click the "Get Started" button on the homepage, log in with Google, and your account will be created.
Step 2: Create Event
- Go to the Event List page and click "Create Event" in the top right
- Enter the event title and event ID. The event ID will become part of the URL, we recommend using meaningful alphanumeric combinations, such as wedding-05-01
Step 3: Display Photo Wall
- On the Event List page, open your created event and click the photo display wall link. Keep your screen or projector fixed on this screen
- The QR code in the bottom right can be enlarged, reduced, and moved to meet the needs of event participants
- Move your mouse to the top of the screen to see the "Go Fullscreen" button, click to expand to full screen
- Move your mouse to the top of the screen to see the "Customize" button, click to configure the display wall for this event, such as the size of scrolling text
Tips
- It's recommended to enlarge and move the QR Code to a size and position where all event participants can scan it normally
- Promote this interactive photo wall to event participants
- Encourage event participants to upload more photos and interact with the photo wall
How Event Participants Upload Photos and Interact with the Photo Wall
Step 1: Scan QR Code
- After scanning the event-specific QR Code, you can see the photo upload, photo wall interaction, and album pages
Step 2: Upload Photos
- On this page, event participants can upload photos to the photo wall, and photos will be displayed immediately or queued on the photo wall
Step 3: Interact with Photo Wall
- On this page, event participants can interact with the photo wall by sending emojis or text, which will appear immediately on the photo wall as scrolling messages, very interesting
Step 4: Download Photos
- At the bottom of the same page, photos uploaded by other event participants are also displayed and can be downloaded. So besides photo display, it's also a shared album
How Event Organizers Download Shared Album Photos
- On the Event List page, open your created event and click the upload photos link. You can see the shared album where all photos can be downloaded. This is a very convenient feature to collect photos from event participants and preserve happy memories of the event
